Master Development
Al Marjan IslandCity: Ras Al Khaimah
The spectacular Al Marjan Island is a collection of five man made islands located 27 kilometres southwest of the major town centre in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The group of five man made islands will cover an area of over 2.7 million square metres and will be worth over $1.8 billion USD. With the development due for completion by June 2009, Al Marjan Island will expand over two kilometres into the clear blue waters of the Arabian Gulf, offering residents a true haven of serenity away from the hustle of everyday life.
Al Marjan Island is located in the stunning emirate of Ras Al Khaimah just 45 minutes away to the commercial center and international airport in the neighboring emirate of Dubai. Now in place for a new high speed rail network linking the major destinations within the emirates, as well modern hovercraft link between Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai, it seems probably that the demand for property in Al Marjan Islands and Ras Al Khaimah will much increase.
Al Marjan Island has seen a number of landmark developments being publicized including the Pacific development, La Hoya Bay and more recently the AED 1.1 billion Bab Al Badr development. Given the ascending popularity of Ras Al Khaimah and the Al Marjan Islands project, all of which have been commercially successful, it would be safe to presume that announcement of further property developments on Al Marjan Island are not far away.
In general, the factors stated above seem to advocate that the option of living in Ras Al Khaimah, even as working in the busy commercial place of Dubai is fast becoming a reality. The increasing choices available to commuters looking to advantage from the more relaxed and tranquil life on offer in Al Marjan Island, are certainly making this lifestyle pick a more available option. As such, the prices of property in Al Marjan Islands and during Ras Al Khaimah seem only set to prolong increasing in the future, as investors seek to maintain the returns only found previously in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
