DubiotechCity: Dubai
Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park ( DuBiotech ) is Middle East’s first and foremost Science and Business Park dedicated to global Life Science, DuBiotech is a core development cooperations and inventions through its commitment to Life Science research, education and industry nationally and internationally.
DuBiotech, upon completion, will cover 30 million square feet of urbanized area. It is purposelly located in a major area of Dubai. The 22 million square feet Park is divided into zones that are dedicated to various plans and companies of all sizes from across the Life Science value chain with an emphasis on Research and Development.
In sequence with its vision to create a city within a city, DuBiotech also includes:
- Hotel
- Residential facilities
- Grade schools
- Hospitals
- Leisure centers
- Various retail areas
DuBiotech is sited in Dubai and occupies a famous location between the Al Khail and Emirates Road highways. Upon completion, the DuBiotech community will be in excess of 20 million sq ft of built up area, constructed over several phases.
DuBiotech is situated in close to several of Dubai’s superprojects. Within a 10 minute drive Dubailand, Dubai Autodrome, Dubai Sports City and Dubai Studio City are all reachable, as is Mall of the Emirates, the largest shopping, retail and leisure destination in the Middle East.
Additionally, DuBiotech is located within a:
- 20 minutes drive from Dubai International Airport
- 15 minutes drive from Jebel Ali Port and Free Zone
- 15 minutes drive from Dubai World Central International Airport, expected to be the world’s largest airport upon its completion in 2010.
