O14 is a 22 storey commercial tower which is also known as Swiss Cheese in Business Bay. It is wrapped in 40 centimeter Exoskeleton with a total of 1,300 holes. There is a 1 meter space between the facade and the windows allowing hot air to rise and cool air to come in from below. It was designed with an open concept to maximize the perception of space, an exclusive network of shops on the ground level, and four levels of underground parking.
It is ideally located along the extension of the historical Dubai Creek. Because of its unique architectural design, it has won a number of awards such as Emporis Skyscraper Award in 2009, ACEC National Honor Award for Excellence in Engineering Design in 2010, and the Best Tall Building in the Middle East and Africa in the best tall buildings awards by Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.
The amenities of the tower include prayer rooms, four basement levels with ample parking spaces, ground floor retail shops, and several storage areas.
