Residential City is a 715 hectare development project located in the Northeastern Quarter of Dubai World Central that offers high quality accommodation for middle income households. Being part of the latter, its vision is quite threefold. One of which is the obvious inconvenience of living close to the workplace. Secondly, the availability of end users ensuring the housing demand; and lastly, as an area where affordability and compatibility to specific target groups is paramount.
The project can house around hundred thousands of people as well as it will be employing around 20 thousand.
It is ideally linked to the Peripheral Road that runs around the Al Maktoum International Airport that let all the residents have easy access to other DWC components and the surrounding developments.
Residential City will also be home to a showpiece Staff Village. A dedicated area of 75 hectares have been allocated at the south-east corner of the project for this purpose-built community which will house around 43,000 of DWC’s blue-collar staff.
With open spaces, restaurants, community facilities, shops, service centers and recreational and sports facilities, Staff Village will be a desirable living environment in picturesque surroundings with direct access to relevant warehouses, buildings and offices. As the Staff Village is a gated community with direct links to DWC’s other components, employers within the urban aviation master community will be able to curtail costs on transporting their workforces to their relevant places of employment.
Residential City also boasts a variety of services along its main spine. In addition to an office and hotel zone, there will be also three five star hotels, four-star and three-star properties, and shopping malls.
