Al Wasl is one of the localities in Dubai and primarily located in Western part of the Emirate as well as between the first and second interchanges of Sheikh Zayed Road. Its name derives from Historic British Reference to the City of Dubai.
It is a residential community which is bordered to the North by Jumeirah, to the South by new commercial hub of Dubai, Business Bay, to the West by Al Safa, and to the East by Al Satwa. The residences are predominantly high priced villas because of its great location.
There are some landmarks within the area, including the publishing offices of Gulf News and Al Bayan, Al Mazaya Centre, and headquarters of the biggest printing services providers, media & advertising in Dubai.
Lastly, it is close to an Urban Park, Safa Park, which is one of the most pleasant open spaces. It offers tennis and volleyball courts, a Ferris wheel and several other children’s rides, boating lake, perimeter running track, barbeque areas, bike rentals, and pavilion with video games.
