Al Aweer Dubai

Al Aweer is a suburb of Dubai and about 35 kilometers from the downtown. It was a farming village with Bedouin camps until the 1990s when Dubai was hugely expanded and when the Emirates Road was established then.

The locations related to this locality are represented by the shortest distances between two points on Earth and may not be nearest by road such as from Al Noaf Suburb, Mushrif Park, and Dubai Pivot Fields.

Dubai is situated on the Persian Gulf coast of the United Arab Emirates and lies directly within the Arabian Desert. Dubai shares borders with Sharjah in the northeast, the Sultanate of Oman in the southeast and Abu dhabi in the south. It has natural inlet such as Dubai Creek which runs northeast-southwest as well as its southern section forms the town of Al Aweer and the eastern section forms the locality of Deira.
