Role Summary:
As a Procurement Officer at Provident, you will be accountable for the administration and management of the organizational procurement activities. The position's responsibilities include coordinating with all departments to solicit needs, source or solicit suppliers, develop evaluation criteria, and bids in accordance with the organizational policies and procedures and operations strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicating with suppliers and service providers.
- Manage payments and orders.
- Keep a record of all invoices and inventory.
- Coordinate with all departments to solicit their needs.
- Keep up to date with the latest technologies and prices in the market.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk.
- Experience with MS Office and data programs.
- Experience using office equipment, like printers and scanners.
- Typing speed and accuracy.
- Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Attention to detail.
- Confidentiality.
- 2 years experience in the same or similar role in the U.A.E.
- Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.
- High school diploma; additional sales & purchasing training or certification will be an asset.
- Proficient in English: Written and spoken.
